Position: Service Desk Engineer
I am a Service Desk Engineer at Team Metalogic, responsible for being the first point of contact for any of our clients who require technical support.
What was the very first computer you used? (aka how old are you?!)
The first computer I ever used was an HP Pavilion laptop.
Who is your hero?
My hero is my Dad. He's always there whenever I need his help, finding a solution for all my problems.
When did you join Team Metalogic?
Why are you here?
Having previously worked within the car manufacturing industry, my only previous IT experience has been through self study for the CompTIA A+ IT certification and ITIL 4 foundation certificate in Service Management Best Practices. Working at Team Metalogic provides me with a fantastic opportunity to use the skills I have learnt in a real world environment and gives me the chance to further develop my knowledge, working alongside more experienced colleagues who are experts in their fields.
What are your hobbies?
I love attending music festivals with my friends. Each year we try and plan something different and this year we were lucky enough to get tickets for Glastonbury's 50th anniversary.... fingers crossed it goes ahead.
What does your down-time look like?
Family is most important to me, when I am not in work I like to spend as much time as possible with them and my two dogs Doogle and Autumn. This usually involves eating a takeaway and watching the latest Netflix series.
