Team Metalogic has been named in Wales’ Fast Growth 50 (FG50). Between 2017 and 2019, the IT and telecommunications company had a growth of 88.1%, making them one of the fastest growing companies in Wales.
Fast Growth 50 exists to promote economic growth, support businesses within Wales, and act as a key indicator for entrepreneurship. Businesses are recognised and celebrated for being the fastest growing companies in Wales, measured by their change in turnover across a two-year period.
FG50 is designed to be a recognition for entrepreneurs across Wales to aspire to. Approaching its 23rd year in 2021, the awards are described as the “constant reminder of vast entrepreneurial potential that exists within the Welsh business sector”.
When asked about the placing, Mike Parfitt, founder and CEO of Team Metalogic said:
“Growing from our first client in 2003 to now growing fast enough to be recognised by FG50 is a huge achievement for everyone at Team Metalogic.
We are always looking for new ways to grow and challenge ourselves, and what better way to celebrate our growth than this award.”
Team Metalogic was established in 2005 and currently employs 12 people. The Caerphilly based managed IT service provider supports business across Wales and the UK. The company prides itself on speaking a language businesses understand, all while removing the hassle of monitoring and managing their own IT.
When you work with the managed IT service provider you gain a complete strategic partner for your business. Team Metalogic also leads the way with exceptional response times and a first-class service.
Team Metalogic is always looking ahead to the future. Going forward, the company aims to focus on three major elements. Firstly, emerging technologies, security and zero-trust models to keep them ahead of the game and leading in their industry.
Secondly, continuing to invest in their people with ongoing training and development programmes in place.
And, through a combination of the first and second elements, the third aspect is to ensure Team Metalogic continues to be the best it can be.
Its core business values are quality, integrity, clarity, personality and teamwork, and Team Metalogic are “hugely excited to be awarded alongside additional successful entrepreneurs and businesses within the country”.
Further accreditations for Team Metalogic include being the only Welsh business named in the 2017 Top 50 Managed IT Firms in the UK, and being named in Channel Futures’ 2020 MSP 501 list. The organisation is also approved in Cyber Essentials, and has received CompTIA Accredit UK, IT Business, and Managed Services Trustmarks.

Almost every business in every sector needs some kind of technology in order to achieve their goals. From the PCs, laptops and mobile devices you use every day, to the servers your business operates on and the security of your data, IT is everywhere.
It’s been half a decade since Windows 10 was released, and the IT world is preparing itself for a big change. It’s recently been announced that Windows 11 is going to be released towards the end of this year, promising a cleaner, fresher feel than its predecessor but still with the familiar aspects that we all love about Windows.
As the workforce becomes increasingly remote, the need for flexible, agile working is becoming more and more important and so technology needs to meet these requirements.
